Yay for Family!

I have spent lots of time these past few months with my Cousins and my Aunt and Uncle. It has been so much fun. I love spending time with them! I helped Kaitlyn with her dance tryout a little bit ( Which she made by the way! We are so excited for her!), enjoyed lots of family dinners and afternoons by the pool! It has been great. I am so thankful for all my family out here and how much they take care of me.

I am leaving tomorrow morning to go back to Danville to FINALLY see my adorable nephew Wyatt! I am so excited! Becky, Lance and Wyatt are picking me up from the airport and I can't wait! I am excited to spend a week with more of my family. I feel like it has been so long since I have see everyone in California. I love having a break for Utah life and going back home to relax. It will be a nice break before my crazy busy wedding season kicks in for me at work.

I just love my family so much and really am so thankful for all that they do for me!

Oh and don't worry I will post pictures of my nephews (yes...Wyatt and Chino) as soon as I get back! :)

The Graduate :)

OK! I know It has been far too long since my last post and ALLOT has happened! I started my new job which I love! On the same day that I started my new job I became the proudest Aunt ever!! and I FINALLY Graduated!!

As you know I started my new job at Northampton House. I love it! I just finished my "training" this week. I was working in the office every day from 10am-5pm and then helping out with some of the weddings we had going on. It is great, it is exactly what I have been wanting to do. I can finally help a bride who comes in make their wedding dreams come true! I help them plan everything from beginning to end. I will be the one running their whole event.
I had my first 2 bookings this week and a few more in the works! I also make my own schedule now, so it is great and I can make time to fit in everything I need to do, for me and for my Brides! I am so excited about it!

On my first day of work, Becky went in to have a C-Section and had my little nephew Wyatt! HIS SO CUTE!! Both Becky and Wyatt are doing well . I am flying home in a few weeks for his baby blessing. I can't wait to finally see him! I fly in Wednesday afternoon so I will have 3 days of him while my Mom is at work! Other wise it would be a fight over who gets to hold him! I am such the proud Aunt. I am constantly showing off pictures of him to anyone who will look at them! :)

I love this picture of Wyatt and Chino!

Lastly and SOO exciting... I GRADUATED!! I DID IT! I walked across the stage got my "diploma" and didn't fall! I am done! I am an official graduate of UVU! I can't believe I am done! It is a big relief, but I don't know what to do with myself now. I go to work, and come home clean make dinner and go to bed. My life is pretty boring. Most of my friends are gone for the summer or married and antisocial ( not all of them but some) so I don't have many things to do. I have been trying to finish for so long and now I am starting to miss it.... well not THAT much.

( I have lots more pictures from Graduation and My grad party/Aunt Judy's Birthday, Let me know if you want to see more and I can post more)

(Me and some of the Family that came to my graduation! Uncle Norman was there but he had to leave right after I walked across the stage! Thanks for coming! )

Life has been quite exciting the past few weeks. I also moved into my new townhouse and its great! It feels so much like a home and not just a college apartment. The only problem is that I don't have Internet here, so I have to try to borrow it from other people and hope the signal is strong enough. So that is why I haven't blogged in a while. I am trying to get Internet but it has been a big hassle, so I will try to blog more but it is not as easy as it was before. Other then the Internet issue I am so happy at my new place!

The weather is finally getting better and its nice and warm out! Aunt Judy opened her pool today, so if I am not at work everyone will know where to find me now! Life is pretty freaking good right now, so lets hope it stays this way or gets even better! :)

Fabulous Day!

Isn't it amazing how seeing friends you haven't seen in a while can make your day so wonderful?

Well today I went to my LAST day of college classes and then to tanning salon to get some color. I need something before graduation!
After I left I went to lunch with my friend Mal who I haven't seen since like December! I went to Flour Girls and Dough Boys with her and her ADORABLE son Beck! It was the first time that I got to see him in person. I know I am a horrible friend! We live about ten min away from each other and I just now saw him. It's ok though, he still loves me.. he even loved me enough to poop on me! haha! He is just the cutest thing! When he would smile, it would make me smile.

On our way to get lunch I got a phone call from North Hampton House... I GOT THE JOB! I start tomorrow! I am so excited! I am going to be a real Event Consultant! I can't wait.

Job or not, today was a fabulous day! Friends...Babies...Great Food....85 degree weather! What could be better!

Things happen for a reason... Right?

So, WOW it has been a crappy year so far! So, after I was transferred up to the South Jordan location, I was let go. They started to restructure the company and let many people go.

I talked to my cousin Janelle right after it happened, to see what time the whole family was getting together for dinner tonight. Since my Uncle is in town all the Jarrards seem to get together almost ever night for dinner. She told me what time and as soon as I got off the phone she sent me a text and said she could tell there was something wrong. I am so thankful for my family. for people who can tell that I am upset even when I try to hard to sound happy. I went and had dinner with all the Jarrards and it made me feel so much better. It is great to know I have family to count on, and people who will make me feel better when I am down. I am so happy I have my Cousins here with me. I love my sister and Lance, they are great too and I called Becks after and she made me feel allot better, and Lance called me to make sure I was doing ok.

I have a great family!

I was very lucky last week a friend of mine found a posting online for an event planner and I applied for it just to see what would happen. They called me yesterday and want to interview me next week. Cross your fingers that I get the job!!

I still love all the girls that I worked with at Noah's and will miss them, but I guess it was time for me to move on. Things happen for a reason right?

On the happy side, I graduate in like 3 weeks! :) I am moving in 2 weeks!

Transfers

I received a phone call from my boss on Friday while out shopping for a graduations dress with Kristen. I had heard rumors that we were over staffed and I was beginning to get worried that I was going to lose my job. So, when ever she called I got sick to my stomach. While sitting in the dressing room I answered my phone. She told me that I was able to transfer to our newer office in South Jordan ( SoJo as we call it) or I would be let go. So, I obviously told her that SoJo sounded great!! After that relief Kristen and I went on shopping and found me a great dress. It was a fun weekend after that. I went back to the mall on Saturday and bought some sassy new shoes to go with my dress and went to my old roommates wedding. It was great to see Morgan and she looked beautiful! I ran into an old friend from school who I hadn't seen in about a year, and I spent most of the weekend with Kristen! it was fabulous!

I started my first day in SoJo today, and loved it! My new boss seems great and the girl I worked with today was awesome! I had so much fun at work. Lets hope it stays great!! :)

p.s. I move in 30 days and Graduate in 39!!! I'm so excited!

I know I need to Blog more!

So I know it has been a long time since my last post! I'm sorry!

A lot has happened in the past month. I have made a few trips to California, started my new job, found a fabulous townhouse I am moving into the week before graduation and had Pneumonia! My life has been full of a lot of ups and downs the past month.

I finally found a great little town house in Provo! I am moving into the week before graduation! I am so excited! I will post pictures when I finally move.

My new job at Noah's is pretty fun. They people I work with are funny and very entertaining. I do a lot of event set ups and take downs, so I did get tendinitis again my first week working. That was not so fun! I like my job, and it will do for a while, but It is no 23rd Floor! :( I think I got a little spoiled up there, and nothing will be like it was there. I miss my 23rd Floor girls!

I made a trip to California the week after I started working to go to my sisters baby shower and to see my Aunt Joyce who wasn't doing so well. It was a fun weekend. I got to spend time with My sister and see my family. Becky's baby shower was great! Aunt Terri and Barbie did a great job! I helped then decorate all morning, and Terri made an awesome cake with a surf scene on it! It was a great day! That weekend I also go to spend a little bit of time with Aunt Joyce. She stopped by the baby shower to say hello for just a few minuets before it started. I then stopped by the day before I flew back to Utah and spent an hour visiting with her and Aunt Judy. It was nice to have a chance to say goodbye.

As many of you know Joyce passed away a few weeks ago. She was an amazing woman. She really was like a second Mom to me. She was the one that would pick me up from school, when my mom forgot me. She took care of me quite a few times when I was little and home sick, while mom was at school. She touched the lives of everyone she came in contact with.
She had such a strong spirit, such strong faith in the gospel, and was one of the most caring and giving people I have met.
I will never forget the many emails she sent me while I was in college, asking me how I was doing and she always asked who I was dating. When ever she would come out to Utah she would make sure to invite me to have dinner or go play with everyone. I will never forget the countless family dinners these past few years.
My favorite Aunt Joyce story would have to be, when she tried to set me up on a date. This was back in July. I remember sitting at her kitchen table with her and her calling a guy my age from her ward who she taught in seminary. She left a message on his voice mail saying that her niece was in town and that she thought he should give me a call and take me out. She was so excited to call him, but as soon as she had to leave a message she got all nervous, it was pretty funny. She wanted so badly for me to find a nice guy to date. She was such a sweet person and she wanted to do anything and everything she could to help. And I could never thank her enough for that.
p.s. He never called

My Aunt Joyce was one of the most inspirational women I have ever met. She was tender, kind, loving, and sincere. Words can not express how much I miss her and will continue to miss her but I know that I will see her again. I love you Aunt Joyce!
